Russia is a threat to world security and peace

According to NATO, Russia is a threat to world security and peace

NATO, a military alliance of Western countries, sees Russia as a direct and major threat to world security and peace.

The alliance members made the point at a summit in the Spanish capital, Madrid, on Wednesday (June 29th).

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has announced an increase in military presence in the Baltic region,

including Europe’s eastern border, to prevent Russian attacks. NATO has decided to deploy 300,000 troops on the border to counter the Russian threat.

Jens Stoltenberg said that day by day Russia is becoming a threat to the whole world,

including the EU, Scandinavia and the Baltic region.

Ukraine is big proof of that. Therefore, it has decided to increase the military strength of NATO countries on the border with Russia.

Our leaders have agreed on new political and security plans to ensure the security of the Trans-Atlantic region.

Meanwhile, Turkey has withdrawn its objections to Finland and Sweden joining the Western military alliance NATO, ending weeks of conflict.

The decision  announced after four hours of talks on Tuesday

(June 26th) before the start of the NATO summit in Madrid.

This paved the way for the two new countries to join the 30-member alliance.
The United States has announced an increase in its military presence in Europe.

The country hopes to further strengthen NATO.

President Joe Biden said the alliance  needed more now than ever before.

NATO will  strengthened in all aspects of land, air and sea in the world.

Other allies in Europe, the United States and

Ukraine have implemented two of the three measures to disrupt Russia’s economy and halt President Putin’s campaign.

These include strong financial sanctions and the formation of a European alliance to stop buying oil from Russia. But now the third step needs to implemented.

Putin’s revenues from crude oil at sea must  reduced immediately.

However, Russian President Vladimir Putin has sharply criticized NATO’s aggressive behavior in the Baltic region and on Russia’s border.

He said Russia was ready to respond to any NATO aggression.🔱
