Barcelona is adding one player after another to the team.
Despite the financial problems, the Catalan club has drawn five people into the team.
Their shopping is not over yet.
Manchester City’s Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva wants to join Barcelona.
However, Gavi, the young Spanish midfielder of the team, does not like this Bernardo-likeness of the club.
Pedri, Ansu Fati and Gavi have established themselves as important pillars of Barcelona’s first team since coming up from La Masia.
The other two have already been tied down to long-term deals by Barcelona, but Gavi’s current contract with Barcelona expires next summer.
Clubs like Liverpool, Bayern Munich have expressed interest in getting him in the team.
Meanwhile, citing the Catalan TV program La Porteira,
Forbes said that Gavi threatened to leave the Nou Camp if Bernardo Silva was brought into the team.
And that is why he has suspended the negotiation of a new contract for the time being.
18-year-old Gavir fears that playing time on the field may decrease if Silva joins the team

The three midfield positions are occupied by two veterans, Sergio Busquets and Pedro.
Gavi may have to compete with Silva for the other spot. And this is what he is thinking about before renewing the contract.
Barcelona, meanwhile, have a slightly different plan.
They want to save Frankie de Jong and buy Silva. For RD Young, they hope to earn 80-90 million euros.
They will pull Silva to the team with that price.
As a result, Barca coach Xavi knows very well whether they plan to keep Gavi in the XI of the best XI.
Barcelona’s La Liga season will begin with a match against Rayo Vallecano on August 14.
Before that, the Catalan club will take on the Joan Gamper Trophy against the Mexican club Pumas on Sunday (August 7) night.
