In India, there have been cases of female candidates being forced to enter the center in their underwear before sitting for the National Undergraduate Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET).
Recently, this incident happened at Marthama Institute of Information Technology in Kollam district of Kerala.
The matter came to the fore when a complaint submitted to the Kollam Superintendent of Police (SP) the parent of an aggrieved examinee.
As soon as this incident published, there was a discussion and criticism all over India.
According to the victim’s family, women treated like this in front of male examiners and other examinees. This has created emotional trauma in them.
Another test taker’s father said, “My daughter was preparing for the NEET exam from eighth grade. We believed that he would do very well in the exam.
- But such abominable act affected my daughter’s mind in such a way that she could not write properly in the examination book.
- The parent also said that the guidelines of the National Testing Agency (NTA) have not given any restrictions on girls’ underwear and their hooks. However, the staff there forced the girls to keep their underwear open.
However, the examiners claim that girls’ underwear has multiple hooks so that fakes can hidden and entered the examination hall. This done keeping this in mind.
Meanwhile, a case has filed in the women’s commission of the state.🔱
